TRACY RECEPTION

Ashley and Ben are one of my very favorite wedding couples! They are the reason I have chose to do a micro wedding with only my closest family. They had their actual wedding day in September, right on the Oregon Coast, at a large air-bnb with beach access. Having a smaller venue they had a small amount of immediate family and their best friends present. Ashley's mom also owns a catering business (Taste of Excellence - PDX) and made their wedding dinner - cedar planked salmon, a salad and a cold potato salad of sorts. I am NOT joking when I say this is the BEST wedding dinner I have had in the last four years! ... I am having her mom cater my own wedding, I loved it SO much. I highly recommend her for any event and her rates are WAY better than large chain restaurants. Anyways, Ashley and Ben had the most magical and intimate wedding you could imagine. Their photos on the beach were to die for. I wish I could take every couple to the beach!

Because they chose to do a smaller wedding, the opted for a delayed reception to celebrate with ALL their loved ones. Furioso Vineyard hosted the reception along with Wooden Heart wood fired pizza and desserts by Valley Flour. You have GOT TO head over there for your pizza and wine fix ASAP.

You know I will be there on my next free afternoon... I have not stopped craving the one of a kind pizza flavors.

I decided to capture Ashley and Ben's reception more candidly and take a step back from coordinating and directing a timeline. I love the result of this.

So many organic moments in this album and you can really feel the love and connection between them and others.

We made it a little late down to the vineyard but couples photos, but surprisingly for the lack of light, the photos turned out INCREDIBLE!

Knowing what you're doing with your camera settings really makes the world of difference. ;)

I am so excited for Ben and Ashley's future and photographing them with their sweet pup, or whatever moments they want to save forever.
